Anthony Pettis diskuterar Conor McGregor och har inget positivt att säga.
Anthony Pettis har inte gått en match sen han förlorade lättviktstiteln mot Rafael Dos Anjos i mars tidigare i år. En person som är högljudd och visat sitt intresse för att hoppa upp till lättvikten är Conor McGregor. Pettis berättar att ett möte mot McGregor är ointressant om han inte besegrar Jose Aldo:
”Conor’s talking and doing his thing. But he hasn’t beat no one yet.”
”Aldo, he’s beat everybody, but he’s at 145. Aldo would be a good challenge for me. With Conor, he hasn’t beat anybody yet, so it’s hard to tell. If he beats Aldo, then he’s legit.”
Samtidigt berättar han att han inte är imponerad av Eddie Alvarez som han möter härnäst:
”Eddie Alvarez is a good fighter, but based on his last two performances, I’m not that impressed. If I’m in there 100 percent and I fight the way I can fight, I don’t think he has a shot.”
