“I’m very disappointing after two hard months of a training camp, you get something like this after a fight,” berättade Tumenov för MMAjunkie. “I’m very, very disappointed.”
“They told me when I was here in Mexico, my first opponent something happened and he backed out; whoever they offered I was ready to take, I didn’t care,” sa Tumenov. “Again, right before the weigh-ins, the second one, same story. I think that’s a trick move from their camp. I don’t think they were really injured. I think that was a strategy and I got left with no fight.”
“I have a feeling they kind of backed out of the fight because it’s two on the same fight card; it’s kind of suspicious,” sa Tumenov. “Anything can happen, of course, but at the same time I’m very disappointed. … Whatever the reason is, my opponents know I’m a dangerous fighter and I’m coming.”
