”I think the stop was premature but I didn’t want to cause a scene at the time. The guy (Beltran) jumps in and stops the fight and I’m like ’why the fuck are you stopping the fight?’ I think it looked worse then what was really going on in there.”
”I don’t blame anyone for stopping the fight. The ref did a good job, he’s protecting the fighters. I don’t blame my corner for throwing the towel. The guy (Thomson) did a good job getting the fight stopped. He won the fight but he didn’t beat me. He didn’t put no ass whooping on me. I was chasing him the whole fight”
”Josh Thomson was scared shitless when I fought him. He was running for his life. I hit him in the face and he’s making women sounds, bitch ass lady sounds. And that’s not bullshit, it’s reality. I’m not here to talk shit on him.”
”I got hit cause I was over aggressive. I’m trying to meet the criteria. I saw my brother lose to Carlos Condit by chasing after him the whole fight. So I was like, You’re not gonna pull that shit on me!”
”Grey Maynard and TJ Grant are gonna fight and the winner gets a title shot? I’m confused about this. Where the fuck has Gray Maynard been? He got knocked out by Frankie Edgar three years ago, what the fuck has he been doing since then? He had the most boring fight I’ve ever seen against Clay Guida, and now he gets a title shot? I’m like, get to work motherfucker. I’m fighting every other month and I don’t get title shots because I lose half on bullshit decisions.”
