Andre Fili (14-2) tar sig an Godofredo Pepey (11-3) på UFC Fight Night 62 som går av stapeln imorgon. Fili erkänner att han inte var så sugen på att komma tillbaka till Brasilien, men insåg att hans match har potential att bli Fight of the Night.
Fili känner att han aldrig varit i en tråkig match och därför kan deras match bli Fight of the Night.
“I think we matchup great,’ berättade Fili för MMAjunkie. “I think we’re early contender for ‘Fight of the Night,’ honestly. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a boring fight. I just don’t have that style, for better or worse.”
Fili har tidigare sagt att hans fightingstil är väldigt aggressiv och han tycker också att hans motståndares fightingstil är aggressiv och därför kommer matchen inte att bli tråkig.
“I’ve never been in a fight where people weren’t excited about it. I think you can say the same thing about him. He takes risks. He’s aggressive. He’s exciting, and I think you can say a lot of the same things about me. I’m going to go in, I’m going to do what I have to do, and I think I have a great gameplan for him.”
