Joe Rogan öppnade nyligen upp för en pension från rollen som UFC-kommentator och även fast Brian Stann inte tror att han är redo att lämna ännu skulle han vara redo att rycka in som ersättare om så blev fallet.
Hata honom eller älska honom – det går inte att förneka Joe Rogans oerhört viktiga plats i UFC. Som expertkommentator har han haft den bästa tänkbara platsen vid några av de största ögonblicken i MMA-historia och i veckan öppnade han upp för att det snart kan vara slut på det. Kontraktet går ut i augusti och Rogan är inte säker på att han tecknar nytt. En som inte håller med och rentav tror komikern ”snackar skit” är kollegan Brian Stann (12-6):
”I’d love to be the guy. If I had to guess, I would guess that they would use a rotation. Knowing what I know they’d probably rotate a bunch of us in there. I think they just like variety. They don’t necessarily do that with Joe because he is Joe Rogan, but I think Joe is full of it. I think he’s absolutely full of it.”
Är Stann trött på Rogans förmåga att skapa rubriker med sina uttalande mån tro? Som väntat så är svaret nej, raka motsatsen berättade han för MMAMania.com:
”He’s not going anywhere and the minute he made that statement, all of his maniacal fans hit him up on Twitter, showering him with love and tweeting for him not to go anywhere and it reinvigorated him for several more years. I would sincerely doubt he walks away. If anything, I think maybe he shaves off a few cards a year and throws a couple of pay-per-views mine and Kenny’s way just so he doesn’t have to travel as much. But I don’t think he is going anywhere. I think his fans and the people love him so much. He does such a good job and it will rejuvenate him and he will back for more.”
