Det delade huvudeventet på UFC 130 var väl ingen direkt höjdare. Roy Nelson var helt färdig, och förlorade i slutändan på ett enhälligt domslut, något som UFCs VD Dana White inte direkt var överlycklig över.
”I thought Big Country (Roy Nelson) looked terrible tonight. He sat up here talking about (how) he got out-wrestled. He looked terrible tonight. He needs to make some serious career decisions. People talk about him making 205… listen, that would be a huge life change and a tough thing for him to do. How bout 240? Let’s make 240, Roy. The fat thing was funny for a while; it’s not funny anymore. It’s not funny when you’re the co-main event in a big fight like that and the fight looks the way that it did.”
Nelson är 2-2 i UFC just nu, och om han ska få ha kvar sitt kontrakt så måste han börja vinna matcher. Och det största hindret han har nu är nog den där magen. Men vi får se vad framtiden har att bjuda på för Nelson, för nu närmast ska han ha ett möte med Dana på fredag för att diskutera framtiden.
