Även om det är andra welterviktare som upptagit diskussionsutrymmet den senaste tiden så väntar de två duktiga welterviktarna Jake Ellenberger och Diego Sanchez på att möta varandra på UFC on Fuel 1 den 15 februari.
Ellenberger ser fram emot matchen och menar att han kommer ha svar på de frågor som Sanchez kommer att ställa under deras match.
”If you let [Diego Sanchez] dictate the pace of the fight, and the range, you’re going to be in for a long night. If he wants to go that break-neck, stupid-guy pace, I can do that, too. But, I plan on hurting him on my feet — I know I can hurt him. If he wants to come out and bully-rush like he normally does, then I think he’s going to get hurt. So, I’m really prepared for anywhere the fight goes…. I’m looking forward to showcasing [my improved stand up] in this fight and making it a 15-minute, full-blown assault on my part…. I’m excited.”, säger Jake Ellenberger i intervjun ovan.
