Johny Hendricks (15-1) kommer att utmana welterviktsmästaren Georges St-Pierre (24-2) om hans titel i huvudmatchen på UFC 167. Trots att St-Pierre är den för närvarande längst regerande mästaren i UFC går Hendricks in med stort förtroende i matchen.
– I’m not scared of him. I don’t care about his wrestling, I don’t care about his jabb you know. I know what he’s gonna do. It’s mine for the taking. I just have to take it. GSP has been a great champion. He’s done a lot for this sport. I’ve just been saying it’s time for someone new. I want to be be the first that changes the UFC:s 170. That is my goal, and that was my dream from whenever I started. One thing that I bring that GSP hasn’t seen is explosive power. He’s seen people who can hit hard but he’s never seen someone that can close the distance and throw hard. I can finish the fight if I touch him one time. Feel like I have more power, I’m more explosive, my wrestling is better than anybody he’s ever faced. I’ve done everything right. It’s just that I got to prove it November 16th.
