Den forne Strikeforce-mästaren hade en något udda utmaningen till den brittiska TUF-vinnaren.
I en intervju för MMAJunkie igår hade mellanviktaren Luke Rockhold (12-2) ett förslag till Michael ”The Count” Bisping (24-6), med anledning av deras pågående fejd över twitter och Facebook.
“I’ve got a wager. Bisping is grossly overpaid, comparably to where we are,” inledde Rockhold, som förmodligen hänvisar till Bispings sista offentliggjorda lön på 425.000 USD, efter hans vinst över Jason ”Mayhem” Miller 2011.
”So, I bet Michael Bisping, if I don’t finish you in the first round, you can have my purse. But if I do finish you in the first round, you give me your purse. So if I don’t finish you in the first round, whether I beat you in a decision or what, you get both of our purses. But if I do finish you in the first round, we switch purses, and I get yours.”
“Let’s see if you’ve got some balls, kid. Bring it.”
Rockhold kommenterade även varför han hellre valt att möta Bisping istället för Lyoto Machida, som det talats om tidigare i veckan:
”It would be nicer [att slåss mot Bisping] ’cause I’d really like to shut him up, you know? I like Machida.”
Bisping möter Cung Le i Macao imorgon på UFC Fight Night 48. Om han skulle vinna är Bisping en bra matchning? Och håller Rockhold vad han lovar?
