Michael Bisping förlorade mellanviktsbältet mot Georges St-Pierre på UFC 217 i höstas, och bara veckor senare knockades han brutalt av toppmellanviktaren Kelvin Gastelum. Nu verkar det som att engelsmannens karriär kan vara över.

Tveksam till en sista fight
Med två raka förluster hoppades Bisping nämligen på att få avsluta sin karriär genom en sista match under helgens Fight Night i London – men de planerna gick i kras.
Nu meddelar ”The Count” via sin podcast ”Believe You Me” att han kanske aldrig kommer att fightas igen.
“Honestly, I don’t know if I’m going to fight again. I was going to fight in London, which is happening this weekend. I was supposed to fight but we couldn’t get the deal done and now it’s giving me more time to reflect. I don’t know, maybe I will, maybe I won’t fight again,” säger Bisping.
Vill ha en bra deal
Bisping klargör att han eventuellt kommer att gå en match till – men bara om man från UFC:s sida presenterar honom ett tillräckligt bra erbjudande.
Engelsmannen är den som har gått flest matcher i UFC:s historia med 29 framträdanden för organisationen, och han kommer inte gråta sig till sömns om matchen mot Gastelum blir hans sista någonsin.
“If a deal comes my way that is good enough, and by the way I’m not saying that as an insult to the UFC, they’ve got to run their business and I understand that and I’ve got to run mine. If it’s mutually beneficial to all parties included, then yeah I will fight. But if not, I’m happy with the way things were.”
