Rafael Dos Anjos (23-7) möter Anthony Pettis (18-2) på UFC 185 och dom gör då upp om lättviktsbältet och det är en väldigt självsäker Dos Anjos som kommer att äntra oktagonen med hopp om att bli den nya mästaren.
Dos Anjos känner att han inte har någon press på sig inför den här matchen och känner att han kan slappna av.
“I worked my whole life for that day, the day of the title fight,” sa dos Anjos till MMAjunkie. “I feel very blessed.”
“For the first time, I’m fighting with no pressure. I’m just happy to be there, to be in this position, and for sure, I’m so confident for this fight.”
Om Dos Anjos vinner menar han att det kommer att förändra hans liv både för honom och för hans familj.
“I moved here three years ago with my family, and the life wasn’t easy,” erkände Dos Anjos. “I’m not a superstar. I had to work hard. I’ve got to feed my kids.”
“I came from the bottom. I know how hard it is. I didn’t have a rich mom or rich father to support me. I support them, and always I carried extra pressure. But for this time, I feel like I finally got my chance. I have a chance to change my life, and I will.”
Dos Anjos anser att ingen fighter är perfekt och att Pettis har hål i sitt game.
“He’s a good fighter, but I just think he’s not unbeatable,” sa Dos Anjos. “We are on the top of the division, and whoever makes a misstanke that night is going to pay for it.”
