”Honestly, people are going to do what they’re going to do. This is the fight game. I’m not worried or scared about absolutely anybody who’s not talking about me. That dude (McGregor) does not want any part of me. That dude got beat by a No. 5 in the world, Nate Diaz. Everybody’s talking about him being the best, the best, the best. I’m like, dude, you got beat by No. 5. I’m No. 2. I’m the only name that he hasn’t thrown out there in the wind.”
”I always said the 155-pound belt’s been in so many grubby hands, man. It’s never stayed there for three years. We’ve never had somebody to secure the legacy for the 155-pound division. All the champions, to the guys way back then. Like Georges St. Pierre at 170, 185 for Anderson Silva. You have B.J. Penn, but nobody’s really secured it at 155 pounds for more than three years. That thing’s been in so many fucking hands. There really needs to be a real champion there, and that’s me.”
