Andre Fili (14-2) kommer ta sig an Godofrey Pepey (11-3) på UFC Fight Night 62 i helgen. Fili pratade nyligen om sin fightingstil och att han alltid kommer att vara en aggressiv fighter.
Fili är en fighter som gärna vill vara så underhållande som möjligt och han har även jobbat på de svagheter som han har haft.
“I don’t know where to start. It’s been a couple years since then, I’ve developed as a fighter and as a person,” berättade Fili för MMAjunkie Radio. “I’ve been putting so many different things into my game and tightening everything up. And, I think I’m still aggressive. I try to be as exciting as possible but I’ve tightened my game up a lot and evolved as a fighter.”
“I train at Team Alpha Male, so we’re always getting better, always working new stuff. We’re always pushing each other. There’s no other option except to get better. I think I’ve changed in almost every facet of the game.”
Trots sin teknik så kommer Fili alltid att vara en aggressiv fighter och planerar inte att sluta vara det.
“At the end of the day, no matter how much technique or gameplan you work, my job is still to go in and beat that guy up,” sa Fili. “So that’s what I have to do. I’m an aggressive fighter and that’s what I’ve always been and probably what I’ll always be. I don’t see my aggressiveness changing any time soon. No matter how technical or well prepared I am for a fight I’m still going to be an aggressive fighter.”
