UFC 140: Jones vs Machida slutade först med ett armbrott som Frank Mir stod för. Offret i det hela visade sig vara Antônio Rodrigo ”Minotauro” Nogueiras arm som bröts i två delar efter att han klappat för sent. Varför? För att Nogueira skulle flasha.

Hade Nogueira hållit fokuset på att avsluta matchen, hade han troligen haft en hel arm idag och dessutom stått som segrare efter matchen. För efter att han träffade Mir med två hårda slag så vobblade Mir till riktigt mycket. Hade han fortsatt här istället för att gå på en submission så hade resultatet troligtvis sett väldigt annorlunda ut. Men det är väldigt lätt att vara efterklok.
