Jon Jones ser äntligen ut att ha fått ordning på livet. Eller? Instagrambilder och uttalanden till trots ser Daniel Cormier igenom 28-åringens fasad – enligt honom är det en tidsfråga innan Jones gör bort sig igen och därmed ger omvärlden precis vad de vill ha.
Daniel Cormier (17-1) och Jon Jones (21-1) tycker inte om varandra, det vet vi. Men under dagen tog ”D.C” saker och ting till en annan nivå, om det nu är möjligt med tanke på allt som hänt mellan de två.
Enligt Cormier är Jones så kallade upprättelse efter alla drogproblem och trubbel med lagen en fasad. Inget kommer ändra på honom, han kommer göra bort sig igen och omvärlden bara väntar på att se Jones falla.
”There’s nothing that’s going to fix this guy. Nothing’s going to change him. If you want you can buy into the story that Jones has changed but he’ll just let you down again. That’s who he is at his core. Jon Jones will mess up again. I dislike it. I dislike him. I can’t wait to see his face on Friday at this press conference because I’m going to tell him exactly how I feel. I want him to know that coming to this press conference and sitting there with his head held high, he doesn’t deserve that,” berättade Cormier för FOX Sports Live.
Enligt Cormier kommer han snabba på Jones fall när de två möts på UFC 197 den 23:e april:
”If I did the things he did? I would be locked in a dark room somewhere so people didn’t have to see my face, but it’s the society we live in that we accept this guy back into our graces. It’s just to see him fail. I’ll make sure that he fails on April 23 and I’ll expedite the process of him messing up again.”
