WAR MMA 1 har nu fått ännu en match bokad då man meddelar att DJ Linderman ställs mot
Detta kommer inte att vara första gången man möts då man redan 2009 möttes i en match som slutade i vinst via domslut för Linderman. Hayes ansåg att han inte hade tränat någon brottning alls och menade på att Linderman bara låg på honom.
“I had zero wrestling training at that [early] point in my career and [Linderman] just laid on top of me for three rounds… He won on points.”
“I’m humble. I become friends with my opponents after we fight,” säger Linderman ”But Hayes started making excuses for the loss. I’ve never had a wrestling class in my life. It got under my skin that he was making excuses so I wanted to get under his skin too. I got on his FaceBook and Myspace and lit a fire under him. I called him a pussy and started talking trash…”.
“He [Linderman] started talking all kinds of shit and was running his mouth – saying I was dodging a re-match with him and was scared of him… It made me mad that he started talking trash after winning a fight like that [on points].”
Returmatchen kom på Cage Warriors 47 förra året då Linderman ännu en gång gick segrande via domslut samtidigt som han tog Hayes tungviktsbälte i organisationen.
“I accepted that fight in 15 seconds. I wanted to fight him to settle things even though it was on short notice. I knew that guy fights with anger while I remain calm and cool-headed. I started talking shit to get him off his game. I knew he’d be pissed off.” säger Linderman.
“[In the re-match] I fought him and stood with him for 25 minutes.He had to come up with another excuse after that one.”
Hayes berättar att inför deras förra möte så skadade han armbågen under träningen och kunde inte använda armen under matchen.
“Three weeks before the fight I got slammed by a training partner and jammed my elbow. I couldn’t use my left arm during the fight… It was very frustrating. I went 5 rounds with Linderman with one arm. I almost finished him with one arm.
Nu säger Hayes att han är helt skadefri och att det kommer visa sig i ringen.
“I’m a better fighter than him. This is the first time anyone’s seen me at 100%. I’ll do my talking in the ring now that I’m healthy.”
Linderman lovar att han den här gången ska avsluta matchen för att tysta Hayes för gott.
“Now he wants to step up with “two good arms”? I have a whole body that’s gonna destroy him. This is the third and final time. I’ve already beat his ass for 40 minutes. I don’t know why he wants more. This time I will finish this fight and shut him up once and for all.”
Hayes har sedan deras senast möte endast gått en match som slutade i domslutsförlust mot Andrei Arlovski i december förra året. Linderman har gått fyra matcher sedan sist där han besegrat Dale Mitchell och Michal Kita men även förlorat mot Anthony ”Rumble” Johnson och Robert Drysdale.
