Flugviktaren Ian McCall skrev i eftermiddags ett par twitter-meddelande där han förklarade sitt hat för hemlösa. Först så fokuserade han bara på de hemlösa, men övergick sedan för att klargöra om att det hela egentligen handlade om hemlösa narkomaner.

Men för uttalandena så fick han stora mängder kritik, vilket gjorde att han kort efter det tog sig till UG-forumet för att be om ursäkt.
”I was having a shitty day and some junkie was talking shit to me and i took it to twitter. I have nothing against the homeless I dont even know why i used that word, it has nothing to do with psychiatric people or PTSD people. Anyone that knows me knows how much charity work i do.
”I just had a problem with this junkie talking shit to me and i apologize to everyone that i said that. I used to have a drug problem now i despise junkies. I’m sorry for offending anyone it came off as a total asshole thing to say and for that i am sorry.”
Det är inte första gången som en MMA-fighter skriver kontroversiella saker på Twitter. Både Forrest Griffin och Miguel Torres har hamnat i trubbel med UFC:s Code of Conduct som berättar hur de ska agera i professionella sammanhang.
McCall har dock bett om ursäkt ganska omgående, så nu är det förmodligen upp till fansen hur man dömer hans agerande.
