Invicta Fighting Championship, en organisation som specialiserar sig på kvinnlig MMA, har idag presenterat deras nästa steg i sin utveckling. De meddelar via en pressrelease att de har gått ihop med den indiske organisationen Super Fight League för att tillsammans föra fram kvinnlig MMA i Indien. Dessa nyheter kommer i samband med SFLs nyhet om att de kommer hålla galor varje vecka som de kallar för Friday Night Fight Nights med start den 12 oktober. Med på dessa matchkort kommer två kvinnliga MMA-matcher att hållas.
“Invicta FC has done some incredible things for women’s MMA in such a short time and I am confident that working with their great organization is a step that will help further the MMA movement in India that we initiated this year with our live event series,” säger SFLs ägare Raj Kundra.
Invicta har för närvarande en gala planerad den 6 oktober med Jessica Penne vs Naho Sugiyama som huvudevent i en match om titeln i atom-divisionen på 48 kilo. Men efter det hoppas Invicta på att kunna hitta oupptäckta talanger i Indien.
