Mairbek Taisumov (23-5) vann över Anthony Christodoulou (12-5) via KO, men ber om ursäkt för några onödiga slag som kan ha skett, då han inte såg att Christodoulou var knockad.
Under sin post-fight scrum så passade Taisumov på att be om ursäkt för de onödiga slagen som han kan ha slagit.
”I didn’t see that he was out,” said Taisumov, without the help of a translator. ”In my career, I’ve never (done this before). When I see somebody do something like this, I didn’t like it. I didn’t see that he was out.
”I’m so sorry.”
Taisumov vann sin tredje match i UFC. Han knockade ner sin motståndare via knä och fortsatte sedan att mata slag tills domaren bröt.
”I didn’t see that he was out and that is why I am apologizing for that. That was not nice. If I didn’t see that he was out, maybe the referee also didn’t see that he was out.”
