Rory MacDonald (18-4) blev besegrad av Stephen Thompson (13-1) via enhälligt domslut på UFC Fight Night 89 och berättar nu om sitt återkommande problem med sin näsa.
MacDonald bröt näsan under matchen mot Robbie Lawler på UFC 189 och han bröt den igen under matchen mot Thompson. MacDonald förklarar att han helt enkelt inte vet vad han ska göra åt sitt problem med att han ofta bryter näsan.
”I don’t know,” sa han. ”I broke it actually a couple times before this fight. I have no idea what to do. I gave it time, it kept breaking. I don’t know if surgery is gonna be the best route. I really just have to take time. I’d probably at least look into surgery, see if that can make it stronger, because just time off didn’t do sh*t.”
MacDonald berättar att det var i femte ronden i matchen mot Thompson som han bröt näsan.
”I don’t know what it was,” sa MacDonald. ”I was just trying to throw combinations and tuck my head. Something landed and I felt the waterfall start. The familiar feeling.”
