Michael Bisping deltog i en presskonferens över telefon under gårdagen för att hypa upp The Ultimate Fighter 14 som drar igång nästa vecka. Ämnet ramlade till slut över till Anderson Silva och hans rensning av mellanviktsdivisionen, något som Bisping inte riktigt höll med om.
I’ve been around the UFC for a long time. I’ve been beating top guys consistently for a long time now. I feel I’m gonna get a title shot real, real soon. I’m sill improving all the time. I’m dedicated. I work hard. And I feel that my time is now. I do get frustrated when I hear people say that Anderson Silva’s wiped out the middleweight division.
He hasn’t wiped out the middleweight division: He’s got to fight me yet. I feel I match up very well with him. I’m not disrespecting Anderson. I think Anderson rightly so is regarded as the pound-for-pound best in the world, and I’m a big fan of him. But I feel like I’d give him a good fight and I feel I match up a lot better with him than some of the other fighters he’s faced have.”
Bisping rider för tillfället på tre raka vinster, och är för närvarande inplanerad att möta Jason ”Mayhem” Miller den 3 december efter TUF 14 är över. Men om han skulle ta sig förbi honom är det då verkligen dags för en titelchans?
