” I am energetic like a chipmunk, hardworking like a bee, strong like a lion (a small one cause come on, I am a girl), weird like a tarsiidae and oh yes I can sing like a siren.”
”I was preparing for the entrance tests for the police academy in 2011 and thought that I should have some experience in a combat sports. In any combat sport.
That was because I had never even crabbed a persons wrist before and I thought that it would be good to at least have that in my back pocket when I went to the police academy. Well the school lost its way from my path when I fell in love with the hard sport that I now do daily.
I don’t have any other martial arts training but of course I have focused a little bit in particular things in boxing, muay thai and submission wrestling, but only to support my MMA training.”
Så MMA betyder väldigt mycket för dig?
”MMA is a neverending life lesson. You learn as long as you keep on doing it and I think even after that.
And for me it is also a way to get tired. I have a slight ADHD problem.”
” I look at it this way: My MMA is like a child sitting on a beanbag chair with like tons of different colored crayons and paints and brushes from which to choose and make yet another stroke to this not even half full canvas. I always concentrate on the next color that I use and draw with… That said I still in the end want to have a finished painting.
I always try to be a happy fighter and my goal in every fight is always that there is nothing that can suprise me. Whatever happens I stay ready during the whole ride.”
” I know nothing. Well I know this thing; I will be more aggressive and the tempo of the fight will be higher than in the previous one against Karla Benitez.”
Vem tror du blir nästa finska fighter i UFC då?
”I am kinda hoping it’s my teammate from Team East Front, Toni Tauru.”
” I love Rock’n’Roll and I sing it. I perform and get some food on the table with it.
It’s fun and it makes my life fuller and more exciting. I even have my own, I mean truly my own entrance song.
Singing for living is part of my normal day and I think it’s pretty awesome.”
” I am a walking and talking natural disaster,in a good way. So if you ever see me or even could come to see me you should. That’s what we people do. We look at car crashes and accidents about to happen cause we are curious. In me you can do that in a positive way. And I always have time to meet new people and share a few laughs.
if you smile at me I can even share you some of my chocolate… Just maybe.”
