Nu svarar Antonio Nogueira på Alexander Gustavssons utspel till Tatame, Nogueira säger till Tatame att hans plan är att knocka Gustavsson under deras match den 14 april. Alexander svarade till Tatame att det skulle vara ett misstag från brasilianarens sida och att han är redo att möta Nogueira på UFC Sweden. Nogueria möter den kaxige svensken med ett coolt lugn och säger att han fattas erfarenhet från matcher med stora fighters.
“Absolutely I’ll stand-up”, svarar den tvåfaldige brasilianska och sydamerikanska mästaren i boxning till Tatame. “He claims to have great experience, but I haven’t seen him fighting the best boxers of the world. I’ve had the chance to do it at Pan (bronze medal), South American, amateur Brazilian titles… I believe I’m much more experienced than him”.
Ordkriget fortsätter när Gustavsson hävdar att Tito Ortiz gav bort sin vinst mot Nogueria i UFC 140, även detta tar Antonio med lugn och svarar:
“Tito Ortiz didn’t give me the fight. He resisted a lot, he felt almost knocked out after the knee, but it took a while for him to ask the referee to stop the contest”, säger Nogueira och kritiserar Gustavsson för att säga så om Ortiz. . “I worship my victory a lot. I gotta respect him and there’s no reason for Gustafsson to do it”.
