Nate Diaz har inte bara gjort sig känd som en skitsnackare utanför oktagonen utan är minst lika pratsam i den. Samma sak kan sägas om Conor McGregor som aldrig verkar vara tyst. Därmed kommer ord förmodligen utbytas då de två möts i helgen, åtminstone enligt McGregor.
Conor McGregor (19-2) hyser först och främst inget agg mot Nate Diaz (18-10) inför helgens match på UFC 196 då han inser att båda två är på samma resa, förhoppningsvis mot en UFC-titel eller flera. I en intervju med The Herd dagar innan årets hittills största gala finns förklarade irländaren att han inte har några känslor överhuvudtaget gentemot Diaz.
”I don’t really hate Nate. I have no hate for any man that is on the same journey as me. We’re all chasing the same dream here so I can’t hate the man with the same dream as me. For me, it’s business. There is no emotion there. I go in and I decipher his movements, I decipher his reactions and I make a trap for him and I walk him into the trap. Whether situations in the fight are being verbalized, this is just another day inside the Octagon.”
Tror ni att det kommer utbytas ord i oktagonen? Det tror åtminstone McGregor och om någon borde veta så är det väl han…
