Natten mot måndag fick vi se Conor McGregor (17-2) avsluta ännu en motståndare, nämligen Dennis Siver (22-10) i andra ronden via TKO och han har nu fått sin titelchans.
Dana White tror att dom nu har hittat en ny superstjärna i McGregor.
”It was phenomenal. I said it before and I’ll say it again: this kid is a huge superstar. He is exciting and he’s got that special gift.”
White förklarade även att Jose Aldo är mer än redo att gå match mot McGregor.
”He wants this fight so bad,” said White. ”He loves this fight.”
Efter matchen var många förvånade över att Jose Aldo inte befann sig i buren för en staredown med McGregor, då Aldo var på plats och såg galan, men White förklarade att Aldo är väldigt vidskeplig och kliver bara in i oktagonen om han ska gå match.
”He is superstitious. He will not step foot inside the octagon unless it is to fight. I just wanted to clarify that because it looked weird but nobody told Jose and he doesn’t go in there expect to fight.”
