Stråviktaren Felice Herrig (10-5) ställs mot Paige VanZant (4-1) på UFC on Fox 15 den 18 april. Herrig ser sig vinna oavsett om matchen håller dig stående eller hamnar nere på marken.
Herrig är helt och hållet fokuserad på sin match.

På frågan om kommentaren från VanZant där hon sa att hon och Herrig är ”The Hot girls in MMA” så menar Herrig att VanZant verkar vara fokuserad på saker som utseende medan Herrig är fokuserad på matchen.
“I don’t really care how the UFC markets the fight,”
“From a marketing standpoint that’s completely different than the fight itself.”
“It’s one thing if the promotion or fans say it, but for the actual fighter to say that? I think it just shows where Paige’s head is at, but she’s young and I’ve been in that spot where critics would say I got everything because of my looks, or I couldn’t really fight, so I shouldn’t cast judgement on her for it,” Herrig said. “I’m happy she is able to make the most of things and I really don’t have any ill will towards her.”
Enligt Herrig är VanZant förutsägbar.
“She’s predictable in the sense that I don’t think she has the experience to adapt to certain situations in a fight,”
“That’s one thing about me, I can adapt, wherever the fight goes I’m comfortable. Whatever you throw my way, even if it is not what I was expecting, I can deal with it,”
“I don’t go into fights expecting anything. I’m prepared for anything, but I expect nothing.
Herrig tror att hennes erfarenhet är det som kommer att vinna henne matchen.
“I’ve been fighting long enough to know she can’t show me anything I haven’t seen or faced before, so there will be no element of surprise like she suggested. I know that if we grapple, I’ll out grapple her. If we strike, I’ll out strike her. Overall I know I’ll be physically stronger than her. So yeah, I’m predictable in the sense that I feel I can beat her anywhere the fight goes,”
