John Lineker (26-7) kommer att ta sig an Rob Font (12-1) på UFC 198, men har siktet redan inställt på ett möte med bantamviktsmästaren Dominick Cruz (21-1).
Lineker berättar att han känner att han är den fighter som kommer att besegra Cruz och han ser sig göra det via kroppsslag.
”He’s a striker with heavy hands, but he has a hole in his game. I think I’ll catch him with a body shot.”
”I think I’m the guy to beat Cruz. That’s what I have been searching my entire career. I believe I can defeat him. My coach has analyzed him a lot in case I have to fight him in the near future. We analyzed his style and we have a gameplan in case I have to fight him for the title.”
