Det verkar inte som att Stipe Miocic kommer att sluta tjata om ett returmöte mot mannen som tog hans krona – Daniel ”DC” Cormier.
Cormier, som fram tills UFC 232 var mästare i både tungvikt och lätt tungvikt, gick upp en viktklass för att utmana Miocic på UFC 226 i juli.
Cormier besegrade Miocic via knockout redan i första ronden och sedan dess har Miocic önskat ett returmöte. Cormier meddelade även förra året att han pensionerar sig efter sin 40-årsdag den 20:e mars.

Vill möta Brock Lesnar
Cormier däremot var till en början endast intresserad av en superfight med forne tungviktsmästaren och WWE-superstjärnan Brock Lesnar men tog till slut en match mot den glödhete Derrick Lewis, som han ströp ut i andra ronden.
Lesnar har fortfarande inte betalat sina böter till NSAC och är således inte tillgänglig att möta Cormier.
Det kan vara en annan anledning till varför Miocic fortsätter att utmana Cormier och vill gärna att det sker ”innan han blåser ut ljuset på tårtan”.

White sade också nyligen att han inte tänker vänta för alltid på Lesnar, utan vill hellre se Cormier gå en match innan hans påstådda pensionsdatum.
“One of the things you guys know about me is, I don’t wait for anybody,” sade White. “I’m not (expletive) waiting around for anybody. I’m rolling with the business. Guy doesn’t want to fight this year? It’s all good. It doesn’t matter who you are – how big you are, what your deal is. You don’t want to fight, do your thing. When you’re ready to fight, you come back and talk to me, and we’ll figure something out.”
