You might think Blachowicz has a chance in this fight but Gustafsson has an ace up his sleeve #UFCHamburg pic.twitter.com/VJmXo95gQu

Blachowicz is giving as good as he's getting so far in this. #UFCHamburg

After eating a few more punches, Gustafsson scores a takedown and lands in full guard with about 90 seconds left. #UFCHamburg

Funny thing about Gustafson, is that I really think he beat DC and Jones. AJ landed a headbutt and then a killer right hand. Triple threat

Interested to see what Blachowicz has in round two after that late…mauling. #UFCHamburg

Alexander Gustafsson, who hasn't fought since October, not sharp early against Jan Blachowicz, but picks up key td late in first round.

I will say @JanBlachowicz arm bar is pretty nice. Ill never forget being caught in that thing at @ufc 191. #UFCHamburg

I think @JanBlachowicz has just performed 1000% better than any media was giving him credit for against the ultra tough @AlexTheMauler ??

Beautiful setup and timing on the level change to the takedown by Gustafsson.

His mindset is, "I can't get beat by Blachowicz". https://t.co/NFyf3TI8p5

Some nice horizontal Muay Thai from Gustafsson at the end of the 1st #UFCHamburg
— Angela Hill (@AngieOverkill) September 3, 2016
After getting caught repeatedly in the stand-up, Gustafsson has wisely switched tactics & going to work on the mat. Shrewd move. #UFCHamburg

Gustafsson ends the second round the same way he ended the first, raining down punches from top position

I think there should have been a stand up from the ref. 5mins of sitting in a guard ??!
— Big Ben Rothwell (@RothwellFighter) September 3, 2016
Gustafsson definitely wins that round 10-9. Not sure I agree with those saying 10-8. Clear cut yes but not a 10-8#UFCHamburg
— Damon Martin (@DamonMartin) September 3, 2016
Blachowicz has a chin! Gustafsson landed a serious right hand and he just looked that shit off. #UFCHamburg

— John Maguire (@MaguireTheOne) September 3, 2016
Alexander Gustafsson leans hard on the wrestling, takes Jan Blachowicz down at will. Not his most impressive fight but a much needed win.
— Brett Okamoto (@bokamotoESPN) September 3, 2016
Congrats @AlexTheMauler on easy fight
