UFC har nu satt ett datum för den första europeiska galan nästa år.
Nyligen lät UFC annonsera sin återkomst till London. Fight Night-galan avgörs den 18 mars nästa år och går som vanligt av stapeln i O2-arenan.

Sist UFC besökte London var i februari med galan UFC Fight Night 84: Silva vs. Bisping. Därefter kom organisationen tillbaka till England med PPV-galan UFC 204: Bisping vs. Henderson II, som ägde rum i Manchester förra månaden.

James Elliott, UFC:s vice president och general manager över Europa, Mellanöstern och Afrika, hade följande att säga via UFC.com:
”The UK, and in particular London, is an incredibly important market for us. Time and time again we return to the UK and we are blown away by the enthusiasm and support from the fans.”
Han menar att MMA:n aldrig har varit större än nu i Storbritannien, med engelsmannen Michael Bisping (30-7) som den regerande mellanviktsmästaren.

The UK has its first ever world champion and we have an extremely exciting pool of talented young British athletes looking to make names for themselves on the international stage. What better way to kick off 2017 than with a return to The O2 in London?”
