Alptekin Ozkilic har skadat sig och den inbokade matchen mot Dustin Ortiz ärt inställd. UFC Fight Night 39 kommer därför att enbart innehålla nio matcher.
UFC meddelar att flugviktaren Alptekin Ozkilic (9-2) ådragit sig en skada och att han inte kommer kunna medverka på UFC Fight Night 39 där det var tänkt att han skulle möta Dustin Ortiz (12-3).
– It’s a rib injury, säger Ozkilic till MMAjunkie. It happened on Saturday. I didn’t really feel anything when I was training, but once I started cooling down it started sticking.
– I took Sunday off, Monday off, got back in on Tuesday and it wasn’t healing. It’s something where I know it will heal in a few weeks if I take it off, but it was just bad timing because obviously this is the time I can’t take off.
Den inställda matchen innebär att UFC Fight Night 39 enbart kommer att innehålla nio matcher. Matchkortet ser ut som följande.
