Michael Bisping och Jason ”Mayhem” Miller kommer att mötas i buren på The Ultimate Fighter 14-finalen den 3 december. Det här är Millers först match i organisationen sedan UFC 52 under 2005, men nu är han tillbaka och ska göra sitt för att försöka besegra Bisping.
Bisping åt andra sidan kommer göra sitt för att försöka övertyga UFC om att han faktiskt visst är värd en titelchans mot Anderson Silva, om det fortfarande är han som har bältet efter matchen mot Chael Sonnen..
”I’ve had to work my way back up [after losing to Dan Henderson]. I’ve won most of my fights and I’ve only been stopped once in my career. I’ve had 17 fights inside the UFC and I deserve my shot at the title. If I beat Miller, probably take one more fight. Chael Sonnen will probably get the next shot, which I disagree with, but whatever.
He had his shot, he was using steroids and he tapped, he should go to the back of the queue. He sells fights, he’s compelling so it makes sense from a business perspective. But yeah, if I beat Miller, I’ll probably have to fight someone else in the meantime and if I win that fight, I should get my shot.”
Bisping är nu inne på tre raka vinster, fyra om han skulle besegra Mayhem. Sonnen är däremot endast inne på en vinst efter att han kom tillbaka från dopingavstängningen och besegrade Brian Stann. Men eftersom Sonnen är bra på att snacka så kom han före i kön, och då får den stackars Bisping snällt vänta.
