Nyligen kom den chockerande nyheten att nästa veckas UFC 232 och Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson 2 har flyttats från Las Vegas till Los Angeles, på grund av att Jonesåterigen testat positivt för samma spårämne av steroiden turinabol som han åkte fast för förra sommaren.
USADA bedömer att testresultatet fortfarande har att göra med den förra skandalen, men kommissionen i Nevada är osäkra på detta. NSAC var därför inte villiga att sanktionera matchen, till skillnad från Kaliforniens kommission CSAC. Därmed flyttas UFC 232 och Jones titelmatch mot Alexander Gustafsson till The Forum i Inglewood, istället för T-Mobile Arena som ursprungligen planerat.
Någon som dock inte vet om detta är Gustafsson själv. Enligt uppgifter befinner sig nämligen ”The Mauler” i en helikopter för en fyra timmar lång resa runt Grand Canyon för närvarande, där han inte har någon mottagning.

The people I’ve talked to close to Gustafsson believe he doesn’t know the location has changed yet (and more importantly why) because he’s still on the helicopter ride.
