Lättviktsdivisionen är fylld av talanger och utmanare. Det var inte många som trodde på att Rafael Dos Anjos (24-7) skulle vinna över Anthony Pettis (18-3), speciellt inte dominera honom på det sättet som han gjorde och nu pratar Michael Johnson (16-8) om Dos Anjos.
Johnson tycker att Dos Anjos hade en bra gameplan och visade hur man slår Pettis.
“Dos Anjos definitely had a great game plan against him, and I don’t think Pettis recovered after that first big shot in the first round,” sa Johnson. “But I think Pettis was a little bit exposed in that fight, and dos Anjos made the blueprint on how to beat him.”
Trots Dos anjos starka insats, tror inte Johnson att Dos Anjos kommee att hålla i bältet länge.
”My hats of to dos Anjos; he fought a great fight,” sa Johnson. “But I don’t think he’s going to hold that title any time soon – he’s not going to have it that long. … If he’s still holding (the belt) by the time I get there, I’m definitely going to take it from him.”
