”Well, I was very happy. It’s one of the biggest stadiums here in Sweden and yeah I was just way happy. I walked around, and I’m just so excited for this fight. And it’s in my hometown against Anthony, so… I’m really excited.”
”No, not at all actually.” sa The Mauler om den potentiella pressen att fylla arenan. ”I’m there to do my job. I don’t feel any pressure at all when it comes to selling out the arena. You know, I want focus in my head and that’s Anthony Johnson and nothing else and I got a great team around me and, and I know for sure it’s gonna be packed that night. ”
”Its crazy because, it’s the first time in my career I’ll be fighting that late at night, or that early in the morning. I’m actually really looking forward to it because it’s a first time and I can’t wait to see how it feels and I’m gonna start training also at that time. I’m really curious to see how my body will react. But the main thing is the fight card is so good and the arena is so good, you know it doesn’t matter what time it is. It will still be packed.”
”In the last couple of weeks of my camp I’m gonna change a little bit of my training, I’m going to train at night and I’m gonna have my first or second work out at the evening and then I’m gonna train at three, three in the morning. I’m not gonna see daylight at all. ”
”It’s gonna be a big change, I mean I’m a morning person so I’m up early. I’m very curious to see how it will effect me. You go in there and you fight, you know that’s all there is.”
”I found out when you guys found out. When it got fixed I got a little bit shocked because I didn’t expect that. You know, it can’t get better that this. Of course, when you fight for a title-shot, you fight for the title but.. this is something I’m really looking forward to.”
”Yeah, no, you know I’m taller than him.. but he’s huge.. you know, he’s such a like a deep person, he is wide you know so.. we took that picture that just spread all over the place, it’s just angle”
”We put it up on Facebook, but you know he’s huge, he’s like a train coming at you, at me.. so.. I have to be ready, I have to be prepared. ”
”No he’s not fat, I just think he’s very thick.. like you know he’s huge, his arms are huge, and his chest and his back. His shoulders, his neck, his head, everything is just huge on him”
”Yeah I’m impressed, yeah. You know, he’s done well. He came here from nowhere and just like a train went through everyone so I’m very impressed and I’m really looking forward because I know he’s got skills. He’s got a very heavy hand, he’s a good striker and I want another shot. It’s gonna be a good clash.”
”That’s.. It’s very like.. It’s hard for me to answer that because, you know. I really believe so, I really hope so, and you know, I know that. But at the same time it’s just like nobody has really confirmed it 100 percent. Anything. So, I don’t look past Anthony at all. I need to focus on this guy, I need to be a 100 percent, I need to be the best Alex out there. I need to be the best prepared so you know.. I’m just focusing on him right now.”
”No, not really, not now, no. I just want to fight Anthony now and when I’ve finished him, when I win over him I’m.. we can take that question then.”
”100 percent Yeah, Im training, Im actually at the gym now just got out of the shower so I’m feeling good. 100 percent”
”Well I think DC is a great athlete and such a great person so, I don’t know. What I said was, it would be great to see, for example DC to win because it would mix things up, you know he’s a great fighter. But at the same time, me personally, I want Jones to win, because i want to fight him, if I’m gonna take the belt from anyone I want it to be Jones not DC”.
