Anthony Johnson har inte mycket positivt att säga om sin nästa motståndare Ryan Bader.
Anthony Johnson kommer att möta Ryan Bader på UFC on Fox 18 i New Jersey, USA 30 december. Johnson blev nyligen intervjuad om sin nästa motståndare och då hade han inte mycket positivt att säga:
”I’m just the guy that wants to fight the best, and Bader feels like he’s next in line, but I also feel like to be next in line you have to beat somebody in the top three, and not somebody [like Evans] that was out for basically two years. Me as an athlete and an alpha male, I guess, if that’s what you want to call me, I wouldn’t feel like I accomplished anything like that. If I was him, I would definitely want to fight the best, so if he feels like he’s up to the test, he should have asked to fight me or somebody else higher.”
”I think it’s going to be a war no matter what. He’s hungry. I think he’s pretty upset because I think he was told that he gets the next title shot if he beats Rashad. Now he has to fight me. I think it was just a timing thing too with Jon being reinstated and Bader just – we all kind of knew if Jon was to get reinstated, he was going to get the title shot right away. It was either Bader sit out another six months or he stays active and keeps getting paid.”
Samtidigt är han självsäker om hur matchen mot Bader kommer sluta:
”I’m definitely going to go in there and try to knock his head off. That’s a given… I plan on running right through him. I’m going to take his soul.”
