Christian Morecraft (7-3) har under dagen meddelat på sin Facebooksida att han valt att lägga handskarna på hyllan.
Han startade proffskarriären under 2008 och vann sex raka matcher via avslut i den första ronden innan han 2010 tog sig till UFC. I debuten så åkte han på sin första förlust då han förlorade via knockout i den andra ronden mot Stefan Struve. Efter det så gick det bättre då han lyckades besegra Sean McCorkle via submission men han åkte i nästa match på en ny knockoutförlust mot Matt Mitrione och sedan även mot Pat Barry.
“To anyone who still follows, competing in the UFC is a tough job on many different levels – getting better staying focused and all the other shit that life brings to you and not to mention I still have to work a full time job to support yourself in the mean time.”
“There’s plenty of ”ex professional athletes” out there who are lost , broke, and jobless when competing is over, so with that being said trying to find an easier way to make a living and most importantly be happy so with that being said I’m saying GOODBYE TO THE FIGHT BUISINESS for right now. Nothing’s set in stone because we all know that nothing in life is, but for now I’ve got some other matters to take care of. Thank you all for your support over the years. Han går nu alltså i pension endast 26 år gammal efter att ha förlorat tre av sina fyra senaste matcher via knockout.
