“I miss fighting for sure. I miss it, of course, when I go to a UFC event and see everybody competing. I miss it big time, but too many injuries are holding me back. So I’ve embraced the coaching role instead, and I’m enjoying that.”
“I miss being in the fight game myself, but I’m still sidelined with too many injuries, so I think this is a great way to stay in the game, I’ve always wanted to eventually go over to more coaching when I was done fighting.”
Dillashaw.
“I’m the head MMA coach out here now, but guys like T.J. still had a long relationship with Duane, who was the coach here before, I think, of course, he’s going to want to keep that relationship going. Some guys I’ve worked a lot with, and some guys I’ve worked less with. It just depends. I’m not trying to force myself on anybody. I’m helping anybody who wants to get help, and I’m coaching the pro-team training.”
“I enjoy coaching guys who are hungry to compete and are talented and want to be the best they can be, and we’ve got a lot of those guys here.”
