På lördags ställs danske Martin Kampmann mot Thiago Alves i huvudmatchen på UFC on FX 2 som hålls på Allphones Arena i Sydney, Austrailien.
Innan match har ”The Hitman” lovat sig själv att inte bli indragen i en sluggfest utan att lita på sin teknik.
”He’s got good combinations, he’s real good standing. I think he’s definitely technical as well and it’s going to make for a great fight. I’m going to try to pick him apart, I’m going to stay away from those bombs. Sometimes I have a habit to start slugging out a little bit but not in this fight, I’m going to pick him apart.”, säger Kampmann.
”The Pitbull” förväntar sig nedtagningsförsök från dansken så fort han har fått smaka på kraften Alves kommer att leverera.
”I think he’s going to test his striking skills at first and everything but definitely, as soon as he gets hit, he’s going to shoot for a takedown. I’ve found the old ’Pitbull’ that was sleeping inside of me. But now he’s out there, he’s hungry and he can’t wait to perform in Sydney.”, säger Alves.
