På presskonferensen inför UFC 126 så var inte bara världens pound for pound sämsta tolk på plats, utan även Anderson Silva och Vitor Belfort. Så när snacket väl var slut och frågorna besvarade så var det dags för en nedstirrning, och som vi kommer ihåg, så blev det rätt närgående. Dana White tyckte det var topp tio bästa staredowns han sett, och såhär tycker Belfort:
Anderson Silva is wearing a mask and is showing a person that he is not. It’s probably due to insecurity. This is his weakest spot for the fight. Anderson doesn’t need to create this character, we all know he’s a great fighter. I never stopped being myself. I may not be the best fighter or a perfect fighter, but I’m always myself.
Anderson kände för att svara så schysst och kortfattat han kunde:
I have nothing to say about that. These types of things are normal (the hype), I have nothing personal against Vitor.
