Trots de senaste stormningarna mellan Conor McGregor och UFC insisterar högsta hönset Dana White att allt är lugnt. Än så länge är irländaren inte bokad för någon match, men nästa vecka bör saker och ting bli klarare.
Har ni hört talas om Conor McGregor (19-3) på sistone? Sedan han skapade oreda inför UFC 200 tycks han skapa rubriker på daglig basis. McGregor stryktes från galan efter att ha vägrat medverka under en presskonferens.
I en intervju på The Dan Patrick Show klargör Dana White att det inte finns något ont blod mellan honom och McGregor.
“Conor and I have been talking every day. We’re going to have dinner next week. Our relationship is great. We’re going to put the little speed bump in the road that happened there behind us and move forward.”
På sistone har det talats om såväl en returfight mot Nate Diaz (19-10) på UFC 202, som en fight mot boxaren Floyd Mayweather (49-0 boxning).
”Conor will not be on the card for UFC 200. We’re going to get together next week and see what card he’s going to be on. McGregor vs. Diaz II at UFC 202 sounds like a good idea to me. But no deal is done for 202. We’re going to get together next week and see what’s next.”
