Det senaste framträdandet i oktagonen för Marcus Brimage (6-2) slutade med förlust och nu visar det sig att revanschen kommer att dröja då han skadat sin hälsena så pass allvarligt att det krävs en operation för att återställa honom. Brimage förväntas vara borta i mellan sex till nio månader.

Enligt Brimages manager hade hans klient ingen inbokad match när han skadades.
Brimage kommer närmast från sin första förlust i UFC. Han blev besegrad av Conor McGregor via teknisk knockout på UFC: Stockholm 2013 och bröt med förlusten sin segersvit på fyra matcher.
